About Discover Mission Bay

SeaWorld:
Just opened Emperor which is the tallest, fastest, longest dive coaster in California featuring floorless cars with a 90 degree drop that zooms over 60 MPH!
Sesame Place:
Scheduled to open on March 26th in Chula Vista which will have family-friendly ride, exciting water slides, live shows, photo ops with sesame street friends and more!
Children’s Zoo:
Wildlife Explorers Basecamp at San Diego Zoo just opened for kids to learn about nature, actively play, encounter new species, and develop an empathy for wildlife. With lots of exhibits: Desert Dunes, Wild Woods, Marsh Meadows, Rainforest, Spineless Marvels Invertebrate House, and Cool Critters Reptile House.
Belmont Park:
Belmont in Bloom that will be activated from April 1-May 31. The goal is to provide guests with the opportunity to celebrate life, community, and the beauty of color that this world (AND Belmont!) has to offer. You can expect to see murals & other features of local artwork, large sculptures and floral photo ops, floral Arrangement & Sip & Paint classes, Mobile Mimosa and Spritzer cart that will travel and serve throughout all venues (weekends only), and an Earth Day Beach Cleanup.
Van Gogh San Diego:
Located at the Del Mar Fair Grounds. Created by world renowned audiovisual designers, Beyond Van Gogh uses cutting-edge projection technology to create an engaging journey into the world of Van Gogh. It’s roughly an hour walk through. Monday – Thursday: Basic Timed Entry (Ages 16+): $42.99 // Friday – Sunday and holidays: Basic Timed Entry (Ages 16+): $52.99
